This set is the first I have ever owned.
Impact driver is nice. Light and fast. Good for working in tight corners or for those who work all day and need something light on their arms and wrists.
Drill Driver had a very bad chuck that wobbled. Defintely not good if you demand accuracy in the holes you drill.
Had to call Bosch and use the warranty. Comes with 3 year warranty, First year tool replacement free, 3 year tool repair, and battery is covered for 2 years.
They sent a new OEM drill the next business day. Used the same box to return the defective drill back. Bosch supplies the postage, so returning wasn't much of a hassle, just dropped it off at a UPS location. Return drills within 30 days to Bosch to avoid any charges to your credit card.
The new drill from bosch still was a bit wobbly, but not as bad as the first one. I guess it can't be a perfect circle, but close enough.
The bag that came with the set is big so you can put other tools in there. Made out of heavy duty canvas, so it can take some beating and wear.
Came with 2 batteries, which was a plus. I can have two workers working on a project, or swap batteries with each other if the drill I'm working with is running low. Battery has a good power meter, very useful if you're not sure when it will die or if you should recharge. Charging takes aprox. 20 - 35 minutes depending on the level of power left. The charger is not that big, its quite compact and leaves a small imprint on the work bench/area. Battery life I would say it can lasts maybe about 200 screws in pressure treated 4x4s?
Price paid was $137 with the $20 off Bosch tool purchase over $100 promotion.
Drill is working fine for now, but only time and a few projects will tell.
